As I was in contemplation the year ahead, I wondered what Christians will be focusing on in 2011.

People were quick to dub this year 2011 – Heaven. As was the case in previous years, when such slogans were branded about, nothing will change unless we make changes to affect our future.

I suspect that for many it will be the usual things such as increased costs, weight loss etc.

There once again are predictions of Jesus’ return in 2011. The changing weather patterns, floods, wars etc. certainly points us to Jesus’ return according to end time prophecy, but I like one person’s response to this:”That our focus should be on Jesus and not end time prophecies.”

More than ever people are asking questions as they face an uncertain future, which create great opportunity to reach out to them.

Our cells are effective tools to do just that. People joined together with one goal and one purpose, to reach the lost in the area around them, their neighbours, friends and family and to walk with them until they themselves do just that.

If you love people and want to be mobilized into reaching the lost contact a cell closest to you. They would love to partner with you in the cause of Christ.
